Dragons tongue, Pt XXVl a romance novel.

They got underway early next morning to catch the incoming tide as this was the safest way to meet the ocean through the outward channel. Bree's dad explained the use of motor sailing where in some instances both the sails and the yacht's motor are used at the same time for extra speed.
In this case it was needed to push against the current. Shona watched entranced as the hull rode the swirling water towards the bar then to the ocean swell that rose up causing the boat to crest the waves before plunging into the troughs. Now once clear of the shore the breeze stiffened and orders were given to righten the sails to the correct "luff", where the sails work most efficiently. It soon became apparent to Shona that she was in great hands as Bree and her father worked in unison through the sailing operations.
Shona had a go at steering and was taught on how to avoid gybing and some of the many obstacles encountered in sailing. Once they had her running smoothly Bree went to the galley to make some hot chocolate as it was her fathers favourite. Shona questioned Bree's father about places he had sailed and he willingly shared with her a few stories.
"We used to do a regular run around the Islands to the north."
He explained."Taking passengers out and stuff but we also used to go camping on some remote beaches, cooking some fish over a fire and doing some coin detecting."
Shona asked "You mean you were looking for things washed up from shipwrecks?" "Oh yeah, just for a bit of fun though, you would probably not get rich unless you were extremely lucky." Shona thought about the stash of coins and stuff that her and Bree had found that maybe pointed to a shipwreck along the beach here somewhere.
"How would you exactly go about finding a shipwreck?" Shona asked. It was then that Bree's father noticed the pendant that Shona was wearing.
